Mutations change the DNA sequence. This might change the amino acid sequence. If it does it might have an impact.
Have a look at these two Alleles: Allele B (original) and Allele b (mutant). See if you can find the difference in the DNA sequence because of this mutation.
Transcribe both alleles and copy the mRNA into the holding box. Then Translate both alleles and see what the result of the change in DNA sequence is for the amino acid sequence and the resulting protein.
